THE STORY
From Cherished Past to Vibrant FutureOriginally constructed in 1974, the JFR Barn was once a beloved steakhouse and iconic institution in Southern Pines. With the largest seating capacity in Moore County, it became the go-to spot for holiday dinners, family gatherings, date nights, and special events. After its closure in 2012, the Barn remained vacant- until 2024, when Reno and Lynn Rollé saw its potential. Inspired by its history and charm, the Rollés are breathing new life into the space, creating a modern gathering place where locals and visitors alike can come together to eat, drink, and celebrate life.
Upcycling & Sustainability
In repurposing The Barn, we’re committed to preserving its original charm while blending it with modern touches. We’ll reuse the original wood to maintain the barn’s authentic feel and incorporate upcycled vintage treasures sourced from local shops, adding a layer of Southern Pines’ history. Our sustainable, eco-conscious approach enhances the space with creativity while reflecting our dedication to the environment.
